I am disgusted that this publication whose editors didn't even check to see if the name was used in one form or another is, just as i feared, being confused with our journal of 30+ years. Things are tough enough already!!

I wish that your editors had found a more original name for your publication. I was shocked that no one looked at references for VISIONS on the internet. Though our journal Visions International has been published for most of its existence by that name it originally was called Visions for the the first 5 of its 30 years and many references to it are under that name. Most people still refer to it and search for it under the shorter name. We only added that "International" because religious publications began using the original name (after we had adopted it!) and we do emphasize world-poetry.
Admittedly we don't have copyright or trademark protection for our name/s but simple courtesy would have warranted avoidance of what will confuse readers and searchers!
